WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr., and rowing program director and head women's rowing coach Patrick Diggins have announced the women's schedule for the 2012 spring season. The Crusaders are scheduled to compete in nine regattas with six on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester and three on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.
Holy Cross will kick off the season with its first three regattas on Lake Quinsigamond as the season-opener will be versus Simmons and Smith (March 31). The Crusaders will then take on Bates, Rochester, Trinity, Wellesley and WPI (April 1), while they will also meet UMass and Boston College (April 7). Holy Cross will hit the road to compete at the Knecht Cup (April 14-15) on the Cooper River. The Crusaders will then return for two straight regattas on Lake Quinsigamond. Holy Cross will take on Colby, Connecticut College, Ithaca and William Smith (April 21) and then Connecticut (April 22).
The Crusaders will return to the Cooper River for the Patriot League Championship (April 29). After Holy Cross competes on Lake Quinsigamond at the New England Championship (May 5), the Crusaders will return to Camden for the Eastern Sprints (May 13).
