WORCESTER, Mass. - The schedule for the ECAC National Invitational Rowing Championship on May 8 on Lake Quinsigamond has been announced.
The Crusaders' novice eight will kick off the regatta for Holy Cross at 8:55 a.m. in a heat that will include Williams, Williams Smith, New Hampshire, Tufts and Connecticut College. There are two heats with six boats each. The first three finishers from each heat will go to the grand finals (2:30 p.m.), while the six remaining boats will go to the petites (2:20 p.m.).
There are three second varsity eight heats with six boats each. Holy Cross' heat will be at 9:45 a.m. and will feature Williams, Trinity, Tufts, WPI and Connecticut College. The first two finishers from each heat will go to the finals (3:35 p.m.), while third and fourth place will go to the petites (3:20 p.m.) and fifth and sixth place will go to the third levels (3:10 p.m.).
There are three varsity eight heats with seven teams each. The Crusaders' heat will be at 10:50 a.m. as they will compete versus Williams, Trinity, Simmons, Smith, Tulane and Colby. The first two finishers in each heat will go to the finals (4:55 p.m.), third and fourth place to the petites (4:45 p.m.), fifth and sixth to the third levels (4:15 p.m.) and seventh to the fourth levels (4:05 p.m.).
