Women's Rowing Competes Versus UMass

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed versus UMass on Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday as the varsity eight earned a victory for the Crusaders. The Minutewomen won the second varsity eight and the novice eight races.

The varsity eight race was the closest of the regatta as the Crusaders (7:13.3) just edged UMass (7:14.4). UMass (7:14) defeated the Crusaders (7:33) in the second varsity eight race. The Minutewomen (7:59) also earned a win over the Crusaders (8:25) in the novice eight.

The Crusaders return to action on Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday, April 24, when they compete for the Patriot League Championship at 8:00 a.m.

Holy Cross novice eight: Meiling May (coxswain), Gloria McMahon, Debbie Sokolowski, Becky Musgrave, Annemarie Wiesen, Catherine Bogdanowicz, Kiley McLeanKatie Luther, Katherine Pilch.
