Women's Rowing Competes Versus Five Schools

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed versus Colby, Connecticut College, Ithaca, MIT and Williams on Lake Quinsigamond. The second varsity eight placed second, while the varsity eight and the novice eight each finished third.

The varsity eight race was won by Ithaca (7:20.9), followed by Patriot League member MIT (7:24.3), Holy Cross (7:26.8), Colby (7:54.8) and Connecticut College (8:08.9).

Ithaca (7:35.8) also won the second varsity eight as the Crusaders (7:41.8) placed second, MIT (7:54.7) finished third, Connecticut College (8:09.6) placed fourth and Colby (8:26.2) finished fifth.

Williams (7:41.5) took the novice eight competition, followed by Ithaca (7:58.3), the Crusaders (8:12.5) and Connecticut College (9:14.7).

The Crusaders return to action on Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday, April 17, versus Boston College & Connecticut.
