Women's Rowing Competes Versus Mt. Holyoke, Smith & Trinity

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed versus Mount Holyoke, Smith and Trinity on Lake Quinsigamond on Saturday. The Crusaders finished in second place in three races.

Trinity won the varsity eight race with a time of 7:00.4, while the Crusaders recorded a time of 7:05.7, followed by Smith (7:13.9) and Mt. Holyoke (7:15.0). The second varsity eight was also won by Trinity (7:17.8), followed by Holy Cross (7:23.8), Smith (7:25.2) and Mt. Holyoke (7:39.5). Trinity won the novice eight race with a time of 7:18.5, followed by Holy Cross (7:45.7), Mt. Holyoke (7:45.9), Smith (8:08.4) and Mt. Holyoke B (8:29.1).    

The Crusaders return to action on Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday, April 10, versus Bates, Rochester, Trinity, Wellesley and WPI at 8:30 a.m. Go here for the schedule.
