Women's Rowing Takes On Competition At Head Of The Charles

Varsity Eight

BOSTON, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's rowing team competed in three races at the 46th Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, Holy Cross placed 19th out of 51 boats in the club four race with a time of 21:08.872 as TBC Racing won with a time of 19:47.665. The Crusaders then finished 16th out of 30 boats in the club eight race with a time of 19:16.108. Riverside Boat Club placed first with a time of 17:41.256. On the second day of the competition, the Crusaders placed 15th out of 20 boats in the championship four race with a time of 19:05.794. Cornell won with a time of 17:48.071.  

The Crusaders return to action when they compete at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta in Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 30.
