Holy Cross Women's Rowing Takes Part In Quinsigamond Novice Challenge
WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's rowing team hosted the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. on Saturday. Boats from 10 schools participated in the event.
The Crusaders' boat of freshman coxswain Lenore Montanaro (North Kingstown, R.I.) and freshmen Ali Hartman (Beverly, Mass.), Michele Grenier (Menands, N.Y.), Liza Noone (Litchfield, Conn.), Kate Bradway, Colleen Sharry (Braintree, Mass.), Katie Hunter (San Antonio, Texas), Kaleigh Hahn (Ellicott City, Md.) and Korel Cudmore (Fairhaven, Mass.) took 12th place in the event, crossing the line with a time of 19:42.755. Trinity's novice A boat finished first in 16:32.159, while the novice A eight from New Hampshire came in second with a time of 17:17.592.
The Holy Cross women's rowing team continues competition Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Princeton Chase Regatta on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. The events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
