Orr Named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior goalkeeper Megan Orr (Wilton, Conn.) was named the Patriot League goalkeeper of the week while five of her teammates were also recognized for their performances last week.
Orr saved 11 shots out of 28 faced against Yale and eight out of 19 against Bucknell last week. For the week she averaged 9.5 saves per game on her way to her third Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week award this season.
Senior Patricia Sutton (Saratoga Spring, N.Y.), freshman Megan Fenton (Bridgewater, N.J.) and juniors Kristine Corkum (Ipswich, Mass.), Cara O'Sullivan (Duxbury, Mass.) and Amy Archambault (West Hartford, Conn.) were recognized in the Patriot League Honorable Mention category this week after the Crusaders went 1-1 with a loss vs. Yale (13-6) and a win against Bucknell (16-6). Sutton recorded four goals, one assist, and three ground balls, Fenton had one goal, two assists, three points, and one ground ball while Corkum had seven goals, one assist and eight points last week. O'Sullivan scored two goals and two points and Archambault had two goals, and three assists last week.
The Crusaders, 8-4 overall and 3-0 in the league, will travel to face non-conference opponent Fairfield on Wednesday and will return home to play Lehigh Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in the senior day game and Connecticut Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
