  • The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team returns to action with two home games. On March 18 the Crusaders will play Boston College at 4:00 p.m. and on March 21 Holy Cross will play Navy at 3:00 p.m.

  • Last year, the Crusaders lost to Boston College, 18-6, while they lost to Navy, 12-11.

  • Boston College is 5-2 and 0-1 in the ACC this year, while Navy is 5-1 and 1-0 in the Patriot League.

  • Freshman Kat Sutton (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) scored three goals last week, including a career-best two against Colgate. She has four goals and two assists on the season.

  • Junior Katie Gardner (Garden City, N.Y.) has recorded at least one point in 19 straight games. The streak started on March 8, 2008. She scored seven goals and four assists for 11 points last week, including a career-best four goals and seven points on March 11. She leads the team in assists with 12 and in points with 24. Her 12 assists are a career best.
