Holy Cross To Host UNH And To Play At Vermont

Schedule: Wednesday, Feb. 25 vs. New Hampshire, Worcester, Mass., 3:00 p.m. The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team, who is coming off a 11-7 season-opening win over UMass on Feb. 17 and a 13-10 loss against Harvard on Feb. 21, will play one game at home and one on the road this week. On Feb. 25, the Crusaders will meet New Hampshire in Worcester at 3:00 p.m., while on Feb. 28, Holy Cross will travel to Burlington, Vt. to play Vermont at 1:00 p.m.
Last year, The Crusaders lost at New Hampshire on Feb. 27, 16-7, while they defeated Vermont on March 19, 13-11.
Senior tri-captain Samantha Hallowell (Duxbury, Mass.) scored her first collegiate goal in the victory over UMass. The goal was also the game-winner.
Junior Megan Fenton (Bridgewater, N.J.) had an outstanding start to the year as she recorded eight goals and one assist for nine points in the first two games. She had three goals in the win over UMass, while she had a career-best five goals and also had one assist for six points in the Harvard game.
Sophomore Amy Martin (Bloomfield, Mich.) was outstanding in net in the win over UMass as
she made 11 saves and allowed seven goals for a .611 save percentage.
10 Holy Cross players have already recorded at least one point.
