WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross junior Megan Fenton (Bridgewater, N.J.) has been named the Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. She recorded eight goals and one assist for nine points in two games.
Fenton had three goals in the 11-7 season-opening win over UMass on Feb. 17, while she had a career-best five goals and also had one assist for six points in the 13-10 lost to Harvard on Feb. 21. She currently leads the Patriot League in goals per game with 4.0, while 4.5 points per game are tied for second. For her career, she has 49 goals and 10 assists for 59 points.
The Crusaders (1-1) return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 25, when they host New Hampshire (1-0) at 3:00 p.m.
