Kacie Lewis is in her second season
as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Holy Cross in
Lewis comes to Holy Cross after four years as a member of the women’s lacrosse team at UConn where she served as team captain in 2012 and 2013. Over Lewis’ four years on the team, the Huskies’ record improved every year, culminating in a 13-5 record and a NCAA Tournament appearance in her final season. This was the program’s first-ever trip to the NCAA Tournament.
A native of San Diego, Calif.,
Lewis began her coaching career in 2010 as the coach of the San
Diego Lax Dawgs club lacrosse team. She went on to serve as a
counselor for lacrosse camps at USC, Duke, Stanford, Brown,
Princeton, Georgetown and UConn at different periods from 2011
through 2013. She was co-director of the Starhill Clinic in
Tolland, Conn. from 2011- 2013. In 2013, Lewis’ final season
at UConn, she served as the intern to the head coach under coach
Lewis, who was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013.
