Women’s Lacrosse Earns 15 Selections On Academic Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass.  The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team has earned 15 selections on the 2014 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Senior captain Sara Hennessey (Winchester, Mass.) was named to the Honor Roll for the fourth time as she led the team with a 3.90 grade-point average for the spring semester.

The other members of the team to be named to the Academic Honor Roll were senior captain Corinne Caracausa (North Wales, Pa.) and senior Maddie Parisi (Westport, Conn.); juniors Kim Corkum (Ipswich, Mass.), Lissie Russert (Cincinnati, Ohio) and captain Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.); sophomores Katie Boyle (Devon, Pa.), MacKenzie Bozel (Hunt Valley, Md.), Jersey Burns (Salem, N.H.), Kaitlin Concilio (Ridgewood, N.J.) and Casey Drollinger (Mountain Lakes, N.J.); and freshmen Meighan Grady (Darien, Conn.), Lauren Raffensperger (Bethesda, Md.), Maddy Smith (Menands, N.Y.) and Mary Kate Vanecko (Chicago, Ill.).        
A total of 140 student-athletes from women's lacrosse teams around the league were named to the Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a winter or spring sport student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
