  • The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 26, when it hosts Fairfield at Holy Cross Field at 4:00 p.m. Last year, the Crusaders lost to the Stags by a 12-6 score in Fairfield, Conn., on Feb. 27. Fairfield is 0-2 so far this season with a 8-7 loss at Hofstra and a 6-5 loss at Rutgers. 
  • On Sunday, March 2, the Crusaders will play Stetson in DeLand, Fla., at 1:00 p.m. This will be the first ever meeting between the two programs. The Hatters are 0-4 so far this season. 
  • Senior Sara Hennessey (Winchester, Mass.) tallied her 100th career goal in the game at Yale. Hennessey is on a 35-game goal scoring streak as she now has 100 goals and 12 assists for 112 career points. She is the ninth Crusader to ever score 100 or more goals. 
  • Junior Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.) posted her 100th career point in the contest at Yale. She now has 83 goals and 17 assists for 100 points. She is the 20th player in program history to reach 100 points. Her 124 career draw controls are third all-time in program history.
  • Freshman Avery Giorgio (Madison, Conn.) scored her first collegiate goal in the UMass game. She also has five ground balls this season.
