  • The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team will play two home contests this week. The Crusaders return to action on Wednesday, March 20 when they play No. 17 UMass at 4:00 p.m. The Minutewomen are 7-2 overall this season. The Crusaders lost to UMass last year by an 18-8 score. The Crusaders will then take on Denver on Saturday, March 23 at noon. The Pioneers, who play Vermont on March 20, are 7-1 overall and 1-0 in the MPSF. The Crusaders fell at Denver by a 12-6 score on March 6, 2010, in the only meeting between the programs. To watch both games go here:
  • Junior Sara Hennessey (Winchester, Mass.) leads the team with 22 goals and 24 points. She has scored at least one goal in 25 straight games. Her 2.44 goals per game are eighth in the Patriot League. For her career she has 81 goals and five assists for 86 points. Her 84 career draw controls are eighth all-time in program history.
  • Freshman Kaitlin Concilio (Ridgewood, N.J.) leads the team with nine assists. Her 1.00 assists per game are tied for fifth in the Patriot League. She also has two goals for 11 points.
  • Freshman MacKenzie Bozel (Hunt Valley, Md.) posted her first collegiate goal in the contest versus American. She has one goal and seven assists for eight points this season.
  • Senior captain Maddie Carrellas (Middletown, R.I.) leads the team with nine caused turnovers.  She has 45 career caused turnovers which are fifth all-time in program history, while she also has 66 goals and 13 assists for 79 career points.
  • Senior captain Kat Sutton (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) has 18 goals and three assists for 21 points. Her 0.78 free-position goals per game are fourth in the league. For her career she has 109 goals and 22 assists for 131 points. Her 109 goals are seventh all-time in program history and her 131 points are ninth. Also her 91 career draw controls are tied for fifth all-time.
  • Senior Taylor Zebrowski (Verona, N.J.) has 23 points as she has 17 goals and six assists. Her two game-winning goals lead the team and are tied for second in the Patriot League. She has 98 goals and 36 assists for 134 career points. Her 36 career assists are seventh all-time in program history, while her 134 points are eighth and her 98 goals are eighth.
  • Sophomore Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.) leads the team with 23 draw controls. Her 88 career draw controls are seventh all-time in program history.
  • Junior goalie Sarah Weber (Summit, N.J.) has 63 saves which are 11th nationally. Her .414 save percentage is second in the Patriot League.
