Crusaders To Play At Fairfield On Feb. 27 and Sacred Heart On March 2

  • The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 27 when it travels to Fairfield, Conn., to take on Fairfield at 3:30 p.m. The Stags are 1-2 overall so far this season. The Crusaders will then return to Fairfield, Conn., on Saturday, March 2, when they play Sacred Heart at noon. The Pioneers are 0-1 so far this season. 
  • Senior Taylor Zebrowski (Verona, N.J.) extended her point scoring streak to 26 straight games and her goal scoring streak to 23 games as she tallied four goals and two assists for six points versus Yale. Her 33 career assists are tied for ninth all-time in program history. Zebrowski leads the team this season with 10 points.
  • Senior captain Kat Sutton (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) now has 96 career goals which are tied for eighth all-time in program history. This season she has five goals and one assist for six points.
  • Senior captain Maddie Carrellas (Middletown, R.I.) leads the team with five caused turnovers and is tied for first in the Patriot League with 1.67 caused turnovers per game. Her 41 career caused turnovers are tied for seventh all-time in program history.
  • Junior Sara Hennessey (Winchester, Mass.) leads the team with nine goals. She has scored at least one goal in 19 straight games.
