2011: Started in all 17 games…earned second
team All-Patriot League honors…led the team with 35 goals
and a career-best 44 points…tied for 10th in the Patriot
League with 2.06 goals per game…second on the team with a
career-best nine assists…led the team with a career-best 14
free-position goals…her 0.82 free-position goals per game
were third in the Patriot League…tied for the team-lead with
27 draw controls...tied for third with a career-best 21 ground
balls…posted a career-best eight caused turnovers...recorded
at least one point in the first 15 games of the season, extending
her point scoring streak to 44 straight games…netted at
least one goal in the first 14 games, as her goal scoring streak

in all 17 games…her 2.12 goals per game tied for seventh in
the Patriot League...second on the team with 27 draw controls and
tied for fifth with 17 ground balls…led the team with 11
free-position goals…tallied four goals in the win over Mount
St. Mary’s (3/3)…recorded three goals and two assists
in the victory over Vermont (3/13)…netted the game-winner
against Bucknell (4/3)…had five goals and an assist in the
win over American (4/24).
2009: Played in all 16 games with 12
starts....named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week
twice...ranked fourth on the team with 20 goals and fifth with 24
points, in addition to dishing out four assists...second on the
team with 25 draw controls...picked up 14 ground balls and caused
five turnovers...scored at least one goal in the last 12 games of
the season...recorded her first collegiate assist in the
season-opening victory over UMass (2/17)...scored her first
collegiate goal and added an assist at UMBC (3/6)...had two goals
and one assist at Bucknell (3/28)... named Patriot League Rookie of
the Week (4/6), after posting two goals against Yale (4/1), and two
goals and one assist in the double-overtime win over Lehigh
(4/4)...earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week (4/19) honors for
the second time, scoring two against UConn (4/15) and a season-best
three goals in the win over American (4/18).
Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity
lacrosse team at Saratoga Springs H.S. in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.,
for coach Sue Hoffman...senior captain...earned U.S. Lacrosse
All-America honors in 2008...led the team in scoring with 59 goals
and 39 assists for 98 points as a senior, in addition to picking up
70 ground balls...received the team’s MVP Award and the
school’s Outstanding Athlete Award in 2008...totaled 51 goals
and 18 assists for 69 points as a junior...earned first team
All-Star accolades from the Times Union and the
Saratogian in 2007 and 2008...received first team Suburban
Council All-Star honors in 2007 and 2008, after being a second team
selection in 2005 and 2006...four-time member of the New York State
Scholar-Athlete Team...member of the Albany Elite club team for
coach Lindsey Hart, playing in the 2007 Empire State Games...also a
four-year member and senior captain of the varsity tennis
team...member of the Saratogian All-Star tennis team in 2007 and
2008...member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Rod and Amy Sutton...has one
sister (Patricia)...her sister currently serves as the
Crusaders’ assistant coach, and is Holy Cross’ career
record holder in goals (215) and points (291)...a Sociology
major.
