  • The Holy Cross women's lacrosse team will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 22, when it plays Bryant at the Bryant Turf Complex in Smithfield, R.I., at 4:00 p.m. Bryant went 8-8 overall last year and finished in second place with a 7-2 record in NEC contests. After the Crusaders play the Bryant Bulldogs, they will then take on the Yale Bulldogs at Reese Stadium in New Haven, Conn., on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 11:00 a.m. Last season Yale went 3-12 overall and 0-7 in the Ivy League. These games will be the season-openers for both Bryant and Yale. The first four games for the Crusaders this season are the openers for their opponents as UMass and No. 13 Boston College also opened its seasons versus Holy Cross.
  • Last season, the Crusaders defeated Bryant by an 11-8 score in Worcester on March 22. Last year, the Crusaders defeated Yale for the first time in program history with a 12-5 victory in Worcester on Feb. 26. The Bulldogs had won the 14 previous games in the series.
  • Sophomore Seton Hartnett (Westfield, N.J.) and freshman Laura Ryan (Stirling, N.J.) each recorded their first collegiate goal last week. Ryan netted a goal versus UMass in the season-opener and Hartnett found the back of the net versus No. 13 Boston College.
  • Junior Taylor Zebrowski (Verona, N.J.) leads the team with five points as she is tied for the team-lead with four goals and is first with one assist. Sophomore Maggie Reichenbach (Manhasset, N.Y.) also has four goals as she is 3-3 on free-position shot opportunities.
