WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior midfielder Meg O'Leary (Longmeadow, Mass.) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from March 14-20. O'Leary totaled five goals and three assists for the Holy Cross women's lacrosse team, as it split a pair of games last week.
During Wednesday's 13-6 loss at Brown, O'Leary led the team by scoring four goals and adding one assist. Then it Saturday's 12-7 victory at Sacred Heart, she totaled one goal, two assists, six ground balls, four draw controls and five caused turnovers, including the 100th point of her Holy Cross career.
Overall this season, O'Leary ranks second on the team in scoring with 16 points on 12 goals and four assists. During her four-year career with the Crusaders, she has now totaled 69 goals and 33 assists for 102 points.
The Crusaders (2-7 overall, 0-1 Patriot League) return to action on Tuesday, March 22, when they play host to Bryant at 4:00 p.m.
