WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore forward Jocelyn Kratchmer (Watrous, Saskatchewan) has been named the AT&T Crusader of the Week, for competition from November 3-9. Kratchmer recorded three goals and four assists last week, to lead the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team to a pair of victories.
During Sunday's 5-3 win over ECAC East preseason favorite Manhattanville, Kratchmer had a goal and two assists. Her goal gave the Crusaders a 2-1 lead in the second period, while one of her assists came on the game-winning goal by senior forward Stephanie Couzin (Chicago, Ill.) in the third period. Kratchmer also had two goals and two assists in Holy Cross' season-opening 10-0 victory over Nichols on Tuesday.
Overall this season, Kratchmer ranks second on the team in scoring with seven points on three goals and four assists. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has totaled 13 goals and 17 assists for 30 points.
The Crusaders, who currently stand 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the ECAC East, return to action on Saturday, Nov. 15, when they play host to Salve Regina at 1:00 p.m.
