Holy Cross Picked Third In ECAC Women's East Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. - The ECAC Women's East ice hockey league has announced its preseason poll for the 2007-2008 season. The Holy Cross Crusaders have been voted to finish in third with 117 points and one first place vote. Voted in first was St. Anselm College with 143 points and 11 first place votes. Second was Manhattanville with 130 votes followed, then the Crusaders, followed by UMass-Boston (106 votes), New England College (103 votes), Southern Maine (80 votes), Salve Regina (66 votes), St. Michael's (52 votes), Norwich (50 votes), Castleton State (41 votes), MIT (30 votes) and Plymouth State (18 votes).

The Crusaders will start out their season on November 9 at Sacred Heart. Start time is set for 7:00 p.m.
