WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and Women's Ice Hockey's Head Coach Peter Van Buskirk have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2007-08 season. The Crusaders will play a total of 25 regular season games, including 13 games that will be hosted at the Holy Cross Hart Center.
The Crusaders open up their season on the road at Sacred Heart, Friday (Nov. 9) and then host their second game against Sacred Heart, Sunday (Nov. 11). Holy Cross will travel for a pair of road games to St. Anselm (Nov. 16) and to UMass/Boston (Nov. 17). On November 20th the Crusaders will host a game against Plymouth State followed by two more road games, Connecticut College (Nov. 27) and Salve Regina (Nov. 30). In December the Crusaders will be away at MIT (Dec. 1) and host Wesleyan (Dec. 5).
In January the Crusaders come back to play three home games against Colby (Jan.8), Castleton (Jan. 12) and Plymouth (Jan. 13). Holy Cross then travels for a four game streak at St. Michaels (Jan. 18), Norwich (Jan. 19), Trinity (Jan. 22) and finally Manhattanville (Jan. 25). After their long run on the road they will again host on January 27th for Manhattenville.
The month of February will conclude their regular season games, starting with two games on the road at USM (Feb. 1) and NEC (Feb. 2). Your Crusaders finish the regular season in front of the home crown at the Hart center hosting MIT (Feb. 9), Salve Regina (Feb. 10), Norwich (Feb. 15), St. Michael's (Feb. 16), UMass/Boston (Feb. 23) and St. Anselm (Feb. 24).
The open ECAC tournament is set to be held on March 1-2, location to be determined.
