Crusaders Set To Close Out Regular Season

Holy Cross suffered its second loss of the season, falling to Norwich on Friday, Feb. 13 and then recorded its 20th win of the season against Castleton on Feb. 14.
Against Norwich, freshman Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.) tied the Holy Cross single-season assist record with her 23rd assist of the season.
Against Castleton, sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Atkinson (Westbank, British Columbia) made the start in net for the Crusaders, earning her eighth win (8-0-0) and her third shut out of the season. Atkinson currently leads the ECAC in goals against average with 0.88, save percentage with .942 and winning percentage with a perfect 1.000.
Holy Cross returns to the Hart Center for its final two regular season games. The Crusaders host Plymouth State on Friday, Feb. 20 and Southern Maine on Saturday, Feb. 21. On Saturday, Holy Cross will be honoring seniors Stephanie Couzin (Chicago, Ill.) and Amy McGhee (Newtown, Pa.) for their hard work and commitment to the Holy Cross women's ice hockey program.
Last season, the Crusaders defeated Plymouth State, 11-4, in Worcester on Jan. 13, 2008 and defeated Southern Maine, 1-0, in Gorham, Maine.
