Crusaders Set To Travel To Vermont

Holy Cross outscored its opponents 15-1 in two games, as it defeated MIT, 6-1, on Feb. 7 and St. Michael's, 9-0, on Feb. 8.
Freshman Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.) recorded two goals and three assists against MIT and St. Michael's. Hochkins leads the ECAC East in point scoring with 42 and is five points away from tying the Holy Cross single-season point record of 47, set by Sarah Wetherbee in 2002-2003. Hochkins is one assist away from tying the single-season assist record of 23 and six goals shy of tying the single-season goal record (26).
Sophomore Jocelyn Kratchmer (Watrous, Saskatchewan) and freshman Nicola Garat (Princeton, N.J.) are tied for first in the ECAC with six game-winning goals a piece. The Holy Cross single-season game-winning goals record is seven, set by Kolt Braxson during the 2002-03 season.
Against St. Michael's, sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Atkinson (Westbank, British Columbia) made the start in net for the Crusaders, earning her seventh win (7-0-0) and her second shut out of the season. Atkinson currently leads the ECAC in goals against average with 1.00, save percentage with .937 and winning percentage with a perfect 1.000.
Holy Cross travels to ECAC East opponents Norwich and Castleton State on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14.
The Crusaders defeated Norwich, 3-2, on Nov. 21 in Worcester, Mass. and defeated Castleton State, 5-1, on Nov. 22 in Worcester, Mass.
