Casey McCullion Named Crusader Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Junior goaltender Casey McCullion (Philadelphia, Pa.) has been named the Holiday Inn Express Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 30-February 5. McCullion led the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team to a 1-0 victory over Salve Regina on Friday, Feb. 3.

During the win over the Seahawks, McCullion made 22 saves while posting her third shutout of the season. Earlier in the year, she had shutouts in victories over St. Michael's on Nov. 5 (6-0) and Jan. 20 (2-0). McCullion now has an overall record of 3-6-1 on the season, with 280 saves and a 3.17 goals against average.

Over the course of her career as a Crusader, McCullion owns a 22-33-3 record with 1,469 saves and six shutouts.

The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team (8-11-1, 8-7-0 ECAC) returns to action on Friday, Feb. 10, when it travels to UMass-Boston for a 4:00 p.m. game.
