Crusaders Prepare To Host MIT and St. Michael's

The Crusaders' 19 game unbeaten streak, beginning at the last game of the 2007-2008 season, came to an end as they fell to St. Anselm, 2-1, on Saturday, Jan. 31.
Freshman Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.) scored her fourth short handed goal of the season against New England. Hochkins leads the ECAC in short handed goals and short handed points.
Junior Kathryn Kelley (Dedham, Mass.) scored her second game-winning goal of the season against New England. Sophomore Jocelyn Kratchmer (Watrous, Saskatchewan) and freshman Nicola Garat (Princeton, N.J.) are tied for first in the ECAC with five game-winning goals a piece. The Holy Cross game-winning goals single-season record is seven, set by Kolt Braxson during the 2002-03 season.
Freshman Carly Dominick-Sobol (Syracuse, N.Y.) suffered her first career loss in net against St. Anselm. Dominick-Sobol's 7-1-0 record is second best in the ECAC.
Holy Cross hosts ECAC opponents MIT and St. Michael's Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 7-8.
The Crusaders defeated MIT, 6-1, on Dec. 4 in Cambridge, Mass. and defeated St. Michael's, 4-1, on Dec. 6 in South Burlington, Vt.
