Jacob Anderson enters his second season as an assistant women’s ice hockey coach at the College of the Holy Cross.
Anderson came to Holy Cross from the Goalie Academy of Virginia, where he worked as an instructor of goalies and forwards from 2012-2013. His other duties included running and scheduling clinics, skills sessions and training camps; organizing and scheduling part-time instructors; and serving as the pro shop manager. Anderson previously spent time at the Goalie Academy of Boston from 2011-2012, and has coached several different teams on the youth level.
Anderson is a 2011 graduate of American International College with a bachelor’s degree in general business. He was a four-year member of the men’s ice hockey team, in addition to playing on the varsity tennis team. Anderson played in nine career games as a goalie for the Yellow Jackets, making 64 saves. He was previously played at Shattuck St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minn., where he helped the hockey team to the 2007 USA Hockey Tier I 18 and under national championship
A native of Colorado Springs, Colo., Anderson now resides in Worcester.
