Holy Cross' Jocelyn Kratchmer Featured On TSN, Canada’s Sports Leader

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross women's ice hockey junior forward Jocelyn Kratchmer (Watrous, Saskatchewan) was featured on TSN, Canada's Sports Leader, prior to the start of the 2009-2010 season. Kratchmer was the first Division I women's ice hockey player from her hometown of Watrous, Saskatchewan. Kratchmer and the 2008-2009 Crusaders finished the season with a school record 24 wins and won the 2009 ECAC Open tournament where she was named to the All-Tournament team.

Kratchmer success on the ice continues as she was recently named ECAC Player of the Week, is second on the team in scoring with 24 points and is ranked third in Division I point scoring. Her 93 career points rank sixth all-time at Holy Cross and her 45 goals are tied for fourth.

The Crusaders (12-0-1, 9-0-1 ECAC) will travel to Hartford, Conn. to take on the No. 5 Trinity Bantams in non conference action on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 7:00 p.m.
