Stacey Hochkins Named ECAC East Women’s Ice Hockey Player Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross sophomore forward Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.) has been named the ECAC East women's ice hockey Player of the Week announced today by the league. This is the third Player of the Week honor for Hochkins and second of the season as she received the award on Nov. 10.

Hockins scored her second hat trick of the season and the fifth of her career in Holy Cross' 8-0 win over Plymouth State on Dec. 8. Hochkins scored all three goals in the third period and also picked up two assists in the game to finish with five points. Hochkins leads the ECAC with 22 points, averaging 2.20 points per game. She is second in goal scoring with 11 and tied for second in assist scoring with 11.

Holy Cross (9-0-1, 7-0-1 ECAC) returns to the ice at the Hart Center on Tuesday, Jan. 5, hosting Colby at 7:00 p.m.
