Stacey Hochkins Named ECAC East Women’s Ice Hockey Player Of The Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross sophomore forward Stacey Hochkins (New Boston, Mich.) has been named the ECAC East women's ice hockey Player of the Week announced today by the league. This is the second Player of the Week honor for Hochkins, as she received the award once last season and was named Rookie of the Week three times.

Hockins scored four goals and recorded one assist to lead Holy Cross to a 6-2 season-opening victory over ECAC opponent UMass-Boston on Friday, Nov. 6. Hochkins then recorded three assists in Holy Cross' 5-2 victory over Salve Regina on Saturday, Nov. 7. Hochkins leads the ECAC with four goals and four assists for eight points.

Holy Cross (2-0-0, 2-0-0 ECAC) returns to the ice at the Hart Center on Tuesday, Nov. 10, hosting ECAC opponent Southern Maine (0-2-0, 0-2-0 ECAC) at 7:00 p.m.
