HC Places Eight On Big South Presidential Honor Roll

WORCESTER, Mass. - Eight members of the Holy Cross women's golf team have been selected to the 2007-2008 Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. The Crusaders' eight selections tied with Bucknell for the most in the conference.

The Holy Cross players named to the honor roll were senior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.), junior Flynn Govern (Fairfield, Conn.), junior Alicia Molt (Northbridge, Mass.), junior Elisabeth Sexton (Walpole, Mass.), freshman Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.), freshman Jennifer Finger (Mount Vernon, N.Y.), freshman Megan McCarthy (Beverly, Mass.) and freshman Kerrin O'Leary (Milton, Mass.).

To be eligible for the Presidential Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.00 or better during the school year. A total of 42 women's golf student-athletes were named to the honor roll.
