Amy Lussier Earns Big South Conference All-Academic Honors

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross junior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) has been named to the Big South Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Team as announced at the league's annual banquet held at Coosaw Creek Country Club in North Charleston, S.C. An Economics & Accounting major, Lussier was one of eight student-athletes to be named to the team. She is currently competing at the Big South Championship.

Lussier has had the best finish on the team in all three tournaments that Holy Cross has competed in this season. She tied for sixth place at the Williams Invitational (10/8/06) with a one-round score of 84, while she tied for 25th at the Rutgers Invitational (10/13-14/06) with a two-round score of 165. At the 2006 Big South Championship, she led Holy Cross with a 32nd place finish and a three round score of 256. Lussier led the team in the 2005-06 season with an 83.8 average.
