Women's Golf Places Seventh at Williams Invite

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.- The Holy Cross women's golf team tied for seventh out of 11 teams at the Williams Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club. Junior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) led the Crusaders as she tied for sixth place with a one-round score of 84. The Crusaders finished the one-round tournament with a total of 379, while Williams College won the event with a 326.

Junior Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) had the second best score for the Crusaders with an 89 which was good enough for a tie for 15th. Senior Cynthia Sanossian (Scarsdale, N.Y.) shot a 98 to tie for 36th.

The Crusaders will return to action when they conclude the fall season on Friday and Saturday, October 13-14, when they compete at the Rutgers Invitational at the Rutgers Golf Course in Piscataway, N.J.
