Women's Golf Places 8th At Williams Spring Classic

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in 8th place at the 2007 Williams Spring Classic in Williamstown, Mass., at the Taconic Golf Club to conclude the season. The Crusaders had a team total of 779 over the two rounds of play. Williams College won the team title with a two-day total of 666. Holy Cross was led by junior Ellen Lamson (South Royalton, Vt.) who finished in 24th place with a two-round score of 182.

Junior Amy Lussier (Milton, Mass.) had the second best score for the Crusaders with a 185 which was good enough for a tie for 26th. Sophomore Elisabeth Sexton (Walpole, Mass.) came in 33rd with a 198.
