CLINTON, N.Y. – The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in third place out of three teams at the Hamilton Invitational held at the par-75 Skenandoa Club on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27. The Crusaders came in with a two-day total of 775 strokes (+175), as Le Moyne came in first with a combined team score of 739 strokes (+139). Hamilton came in second place with a two-round total of 762 strokes (+162).
Holy Cross was led by sophomore Lydia Deneen (Hubbardston, Mass.) who tied for third place with a total score of 180 (+30). Crusader junior Meaghan Sullivan (Brockton, Mass.) finished in eighth place with a two-day total of 190 (+40), while sophomore Claire McMahon (Buffalo, N.Y.) came in 11th with a total score of 200 (+50). Sophomores Erika Park (Berlin, Conn.) and Regan McCooey (Manhasset, N.Y.) finished in 12th and 13th place, respectively, with two-round scores of 206 (+56) and 209 (+59).
The Crusaders have concluded the 2013-2014 season.
