Women’s Golf Picked Fifth In Patriot League Preseason Poll

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's golf team has been picked to finish fifth in the 2014 Patriot League preseason poll, which is voted on by head coaches and sports information directors from around the league. The Patriot League Championship will be held at the Saucon Valley Country Club at Lehigh University from April 19-20.

Boston University, a first-year Patriot League member, was picked first in the poll along with Lehigh, each earning 28 total points. Boston University had six first place votes and Lehigh had four. Bucknell was picked third out of the five schools with 22 total points. Navy was picked fourth with 12 and Holy Cross fifth with 10 total points.

The Crusaders will begin their spring season with the Brown Invitational on April 13.
