WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross Director of Athletics Nathan Pine and head women's golf coach Skip Guss have announced the Crusaders' 2014 spring schedule. Holy Cross is scheduled to compete in three events.
The Crusaders begin the spring campaign on Sunday and Monday, April 13-14 at the Brown Invitational held at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, R.I. Holy Cross will then compete in the Patriot League Championship, hosted by Lehigh, on Saturday and Sunday, April 19-20 at the Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa. The Crusaders will wrap up the spring slate on Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27 at the Hamilton Invitational, held at the Skenandoa Golf Club in Clinton, N.Y.
Holy Cross junior captain Morgan Powers (Glastonbury, Conn.) will look to lead the Crusaders during the spring season, as she held a team-best 18-hole average of 84.0 strokes per round.
