Women’s Golf Places 11th At Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. – The Holy Cross women's golf team finished in 11th place at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 14-15 at the par-72 Hanover Country Club. The Crusaders totaled 726 strokes, as Yale captured the tournament crown with a total score of 575 strokes.

The Crusaders were led by sophomore Marisa Cameron (Garden City, N.Y.), who shot a two-day total of 168 strokes (+24) and finished in a tie for 43rd place. Junior captain Morgan Powers (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished in 53rd place with a two-round total of 174 (+30), while sophomore Lydia Deneen (Hubbardston, Mass.) recorded a score of 183 (+39) for a 59th place finish.

Sophomore classmates Claire McMahon (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Erika Park (Berlin, Conn.) finished in 60th and 63rd place, respectively, with scores of 201 (+57) and 214 (+74).

The Crusaders will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21-22, when they will compete in the Mount Holyoke Invitational held at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
