Women's Golf Wraps Up Day Two At Big South Golf Championship
NINETY SIX, S.C. – The Holy Cross women's golf team stands in ninth place after day two of the three-day Big South Conference Championship, which is being held at the Patriot Golf Club in Ninety Six, S.C. The Crusaders finished the first two days of competition with a total of 777 strokes. Campbell currently leads the event with 594 strokes after two rounds.
Freshman Morgan Powers (Glastonbury, Conn.) shot a team-low round of 84 on day two and currently leads the squad with a two-day score of 175. Senior Ellie Deluca (New Canaan, Conn.) follows behind Powers with a two-round tally of 184. Junior Kelly Reagan (Mendota Heights, Minn.) is in 48th after day two with a 207 while seniors Lauren McCarthy (Beverly, Mass.) and Melissa Magill (Staten Island, N.Y.) round out the team's action, finishing today in 49th and 50th place respectively. Coastal Carolina's Brittany Henderson is on top of the individual leader board after day two, marking a 143 after two rounds.
The Big South Championship concludes tomorrow, April 11.
