Ellie Deluca Named To The 2012 Big South All-Academic Team

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior women's golfer Ellie Deluca (New Cannan, Conn.) has been selected to the 2012 Big South All-Academic team, announced by the league. Deluca earns the honor for the first time in her career as she joins nine other players from around the league.

Each school is permitted one representative and must have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and be of at least sophomore standing (both academically and athletically) to be nominated. Deluca will graduate in May with a degree in History. Amanda D'Ostroph, a junior out of Charleston Southern, was named the Big South's Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

The Crusaders compete in the Big South Championship this week, from April 9-11. Tee times are set for 8:00 a.m. every day at the Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor in Ninety-Six, S.C.
