Women's Golf Falls In Dual Match Against Pfeiffer, 355-341
ASHEBORO, N.C. – The Holy Cross women's golf team fell in a dual match against Pfeiffer, 341-355, at the Tot Hill Farm Golf Course. Senior Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.) marked the lowest score on the team in the medal match play, shooting an 86.
Senior Johanna Gavin (Hackettstown, N.J.) shot an 88 while junior Ellie Deluca (New Canaan, Conn.) followed closely behind with an 89. Senior Kerrin O'Leary (Milton, Mass.) and sophomore Kelly Reagan (Mendota Heights, Minn.) also competed, scoring rounds of 92 and 105 respectively.
The Crusaders will next compete in the 2011 Big South Championship from April 11-13. The tournament will be held at the Patriot Golf Club in Ninety Six, S.C. Holy Cross placed eighth in the 2010 championship.
