Women's Golf Completes The Fall Season

Fall season complete

  • The Holy Cross women's golf team wrapped up the fall season with a 10th place finish at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic, held at the Great River Golf Course in Milford, Conn. from Oct. 24-25. For the fourth consecutive time this fall senior co-captain Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.) was the top Crusader performer. She shot a two-round total of 164 and tied for 20th individually.
  • Doherty leads the team also tied her career low-round of 77 this fall, coming at the Mount Holyoke Invitational, where she marked a top-10 individual performance as well
  • Sophomore Kelly Reagan (Mendota Heights, Minn.) also tied her career-low round at the first event of the fall, the Dartmouth Invitational. She shot an 85 on the second day and finished with 180 strokes. She has participated in every event this fall as well.
  • The Crusaders have completed the fall portion of their 2010-2011 season. The spring slate has yet to be announced. Last spring, Holy Cross participated in three competitions, the Big South Championship, the Jack Leaman Invitational and the Williams Spring Invitational.
