Women's Golf Completes Day Two At Big South Championship

NINETY SIX, S.C. – The Holy Cross women's golf team stands in eighth place after day two of the three-day Big South Conference Championship, which is being held at the Patriot Golf Club in Ninety Six, S.C. The Crusaders finished the first two days of competition with a total of 682 strokes. Charleston Southern currently leads the event with 590 strokes after two rounds.

Sophomore Ellie Deluca (New Canaan, Conn.) continues to lead the Crusaders with a two-round of 164 after marking an 83 in round two. She is currently in 35th place. Junior Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.) remains as the second best performer for the Crusaders with a two-round score of 168, marking an 82 on the second day. She is currently in 41st place. Junior Johanna Gavin (Hackettstown, N.J.) remains in 42nd place, while junior Kerrin O'Leary (Milton, Mass.) is 44th and freshman Kelly Reagan (Mendota Heights, Minn.) is 45th. Bucknell's Minjoo Lee has taken over the top individual spot, marking a 144 in the first two rounds.

The Big South Championship concludes tomorrow, April 14.
