WORCESTER, Mass. - Seven members of the Holy Cross women's golf team have been selected to the 2008-2009 Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. The Crusaders were led by senior Alicia Molt (Northbridge, Mass.), who was named to the honor roll for the fourth straight year. Holy Cross' seven total selections tied with Bucknell and High Point for the most in the conference.
Sophomore Meghan Doherty (Westerly, R.I.) and sophomore Kerrin O'Leary (Milton, Mass.) joined Molt, with each player making her second career appearance on the honor roll. Sophomore Emily Cartwright (Randolph, Mass.), sophomore Sarah Dyer (Phoenix, Md.), sophomore Johanna Gavin (Hackettstown, N.J.) and sophomore Victoria LeBlanc (Hartford, Conn.) were all selected to the Presidential Honor Roll for the first time in their careers.
To be eligible for the Presidential Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade point average of 3.0 or better during the school year. A total of 48 women's golf student-athletes were named to the honor roll.
