Erin Singleton Named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross senior goalkeeper Erin Singleton (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the Patriot League Field Hockey Goalkeeper of the Week, for competition from October 6-13, after stopping 30 of 34 shots she faced as the Crusaders posted a 1-2 record last week.
Singleton had 30 saves this week including a career-high 14 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to Columbia on Sunday, October 12. She also tallied nine on Saturday, October 11 in a 1-0 loss to Patriot League opponent Lafayette and seven in Holy Cross' 2-1 overtime victory over Stanford on Monday, October 6.
With 94 saves so far on the season, Singleton has a 2.72 goals against average and a .784 save percentage. Making all 12 starts, Singleton has a 4-8 record including one shutout.
The Crusaders returns to action on Saturday, October 18, traveling to Colgate for a Patriot League game scheduled at 1:00 p.m.
