Singleton Named ECAC Goalkeeper of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore netminder Erin Singleton (Amesbury, Mass.) was named the ECAC Goalkeeper of the Week for her performances in the wins against Lafayette and Yale.

Singleton made 10 saves last week and allowed just two goals as the Holy Cross field hockey team went 2-0. For the season, she is first in the Patriot League in goals against average (1.24) and save percentage (.782). Singleton has been named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the past three weeks and was named the ECAC Goalkeeper of the Week Sept. 18.

Holy Cross has won six consecutive games to tie the all-time second longest streak in a season for Holy Cross field hockey. In the past six wins Singleton allowed just five goals.

The Crusaders play their second conference game at Colgate Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
