Holy Cross Set To Open Patriot League Play At American

FIELD HOCKEY Holy Cross will play one road game and one home game this week. The Crusaders first travel to American for their Patriot
League opener at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. Holy Cross will then come home to face Stanford on Monday, Oct. 6, at
The Crusaders played just one game last week, defeating Dartmouth on the road 3-2 on Sunday. Holy Cross was also
scheduled to play host to Quinnipiac on Friday night, but that contest was cancelled due to the weather.
Junior Courtney Callahan (Acton, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal in Holy Cross' 3-2 victory at Dartmouth on
Sunday. With less than seven minutes remaining in the second half, she tipped home a pass from sophomore Alanna Sikorski (Glen Gardner, N.J.) to break a 2-2 tie and give Holy Cross the victory. Callahan also tallied an assist against the
Big Green, and now ranks second on the team in scoring this season with eight points on three goals and two assists.
Senior Kristin Schulz (Fairfield, Conn.) scored Holy Cross' first goal in the victory at Dartmouth. She now leads the team
in scoring this season with four goals and two assists for 10 points. Over the course of her collegiate career, Schulz has now
totaled 26 points on 10 goals and six assists.
