HC Drops Season Finale To Dartmouth, 2-1

WORCESTER, Mass. - Sara O'Coin (Worcester, Mass.) recorded an assist in her last career game, setting up the lone Holy Cross goal, scored by Courtney Callahan (Acton, Mass.) in the team's 2-1 loss to Dartmouth, closing out the Crusaders' 2007 season.
O'Coin's 25 career assists places her second on the most career list for Holy Cross and ranked 10th in most career points with 69.
Ashley Hines scored first for the Big Green, making a high shot out of reach of Holy Cross goalkeeper Erin Singleton (Amesbury, Mass.), assisted by Stef Miller.
Holding onto the lead heading into the second half, Lizzie Bildner scored the game winner on a scramble in front of the cage, assisted by Allison Weinstock. With 9:25 remaining in the game, Dartmouth maintained a 2-0 cushion over the Crusaders.
O'Coin's quick pass outside of the circle to Callahan recorded her fourth career goal, making the final 2-1 Dartmouth.
Singleton recorded six saves and Kelly Casey (New Egypt, N.J.) had one stop for Holy Cross while Dartmouth's Ashley Heist made nine saves.
Holy Cross finishes its season at 6-13 overall and 2-3 in the Patriot League.
