Maryette Stuart is in her fourth season as assistant field hockey coach for the Crusaders in 2015. She came to Holy Cross after spending one season as the assistantcoach and facilities assistant at Siena. While with the Saints, sheaided the field hockey program in every facet, includingrecruiting, game preparation and on-field coachingresponsibilities. In her role as facilities assistant, Stuart wasresponsible for scheduling, maintenance and overseeing all indoorevents in the school’s athletic complex while also serving asliaison between facilities and athletics.
A 2010 graduate of BostonUniversity, Stuart was a midfielder for the Terriers’ fieldhockey team from 2006-2010 and captained the team her seniorseason. A four-time America East Academic Team selection, shehelped the Terriers win three America East Championships andappeared in three NCAA Tournaments.
Since graduating, Stuart has workedas a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at BostonUniversity’s Fitness and Recreation Center. Additionally, sheserved as a strength coach for the Boston English High School“Get Ready” program and spent the past two summersworking for Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning.
During her time at Boston U.,Stuart interned with Harvard’s strength and conditioningprogram and also served as a coach and instructor with severalregional field hockey camps. Stuart earned both herbachelor’s degree in health science and her master’sdegree in education from Boston University.
A native of Cumberland, Maine,Stuart captained Greely High and boosted them to consecutive leaguetitles while earning All-State and NFHCA Regional All-Americahonors as a senior.
