Field Hockey Announces 2013 Freshman Class

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head field hockey coach Zowie Tucker has announced the 2013 freshman class for the upcoming season. Rae Caliento (Ramsey, N.J.), Audra Kinney (Louisville, Ky.), Maya Langman (Crozet, Va.), Meaghan McKenna (Canton, Mass.), Megan Miranda (Winchester, Mass.), Catherine Noone (Belmont, Mass.), Kat Nutting (Ashburnham, Mass.), Gabriella Smith (Mendham, N.J.) and Lauren Sutherland (Watertown, Mass.) will join the Holy Cross program for the 2013-2014 academic year.

"I am excited to announce our 2013 incoming class," Tucker said. "The addition of these talented student-athletes will provide a greater depth to Holy Cross field hockey. They have all demonstrated great commitment and sound leadership skills from their high school and club play, so they have a very good understanding of the game and what it takes to be successful. Their athleticism and relentless competitive attitude will continue to develop our program as they all have the ability to contribute to our team immediately. I am excited about what they will bring to the team and the future of Holy Cross field hockey."
